Getting a nice, secure, and reputable hardware wallet is necessary if you want to sleep well knowing that your bitcoin and cryptocurrency investments are secure, and a Ledger Nano S or a Ledger Nano X is definitely a great choice. But, where do you buy one in Australia?

Buying from local stores

Since Ledger hardware wallets are pretty famous worldwide, it might be a bit uncommon to find some for sale on brick and mortar stores. But, should you actually buy from them?

The answer: No. While it’s difficult to fake a Ledger wallet or to physically alter one, it’s still technically possible.

Buying from Amazon, eBay, and other websites

While there are definitely reputable Amazon Australia sellers, eBay Australia sellers, and online sellers  that are selling Ledger Nano S’s and Ledger Nano X’s, we still suggest against buying from these sites.

Why? While the chances might be a bit low, there’s still chances of certain sellers’ Ledger wallet inventory to be mixed up with other sellers’ inventory, causing you to possibly be sent a used or tampered Ledger device.

Where should I purchase them instead?

If you want to be 100% secure that you actually bought a brand new, legitimate, unopened, and untampered Ledger Nano S or Ledger Nano X, the best place to buy your hardware wallet is still on the Official Ledger Website, That way, you’re severely decreasing the risks of your device being fake, used, or tampered with. Save yourself the future headaches of you wondering if you purchased a nice and legitimate Ledger hardware wallet.

I recently bought a Trezor White online from the manufacturer only to find out it will only store 2 of my Crypo’s like Bitcoin and Etherium. I have an older laptop (about 7/8 yrs old)Toshiba using Windows 7 at the moment but will be updating to Windows 10 soon. Bluetooth not working on laptop so will need to use USB Port. I currently have the following Crypo’s/token’s/coins: EOS XTZ ETH ADA BTC NEO FTM STEEM HBAR HOT NXS TRS XRP BTS WAXP GAS MIOTA . Which of the 2 ledger’s the Ledger Nano X or the ledger Nano S be more suitable.

Nano X if you don’t want to go through the hassle of installing and uninstalling apps because the Nano S has a small memory(2-4 apps at a time as far as I remember).
